Career Development & Job Placement Services

COVA's vocational professionals serve about 3,000 individuals and 200 employers annually. Our experienced employment teams provide job development and placement for individuals, including services such as vocational assessments, career goals and search skills development, job tryouts and shadowing, job site coaching, employer networking opportunities, practice interviews, and screened job leads.

In our tough economy, COVA’s employer development efforts added more than 100 new work sites in 2008. Benefits for employers include pre-screened workers, loyal employees, access to tax incentives, follow-along coaching, workplace diversity, disability management counsel and no-fee placements. These services are provided at no expense to the employer.

Our Career Development & Job Placement Services are subdivided into three targeted programs: Adult Employment, Pathways, and Transition Youth Services.
