Transition Youth Services

COVA helps youths to overcome challenges and become well-adjusted, productive young adults.

Aftercare Program
COVA provides transitional support services to youth exiting Franklin County Children Services, ages 18-21, who are leaving home care and need assistance in becoming independent. This includes accessing housing, education, and employment, as well as other needs.

Independent Living Skills Assessment
This COVA service is provided for Franklin County Children Services to evaluate life domains for 16-year-old youths. The outcome of the evaluation is a service plan.

CHOICE
High school students with emotional disturbances receive vocational development to help them make successful transitions from school to work, through career exploration activities and assistance in securing and retaining employment.
