Vocational Specialist
Description: Coordinate and provide a variety of activities to assist persons with substance abuse and mental illness in finding and maintaining community employment.
Qualifications/Requirements: Master’s degree in social work, rehabilitation or related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Applicable state licensure/certification preferred. The ability to work independently and in a team environment; assessment and job placement skills; knowledge of substance abuse, psychiatric disabilities, their treatment and how disabilities affect vocation functioning; knowledge and ability to use technology efficiently (includes Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and the internet) and excellent communication skills necessary.

Part-Time Career Developer/Vocational Specialist
Description: This position is part time working 20 hours/week and the hours will vary, Monday through Friday. The qualified candidate will coordinate and provide a variety of activities to assist persons with mental illness in finding and maintaining community employment.

Background check, drug testing, valid driver's license and the ability to be covered under the company's liability policy is required.

Part-Time Career Developer/Vocational Specialist

Description: Janitorial position in downtown building. Clean offices and restrooms. 25 hours per week. 5pm – 10:30pm.
Qualifications/Requirements: Must have valid driver’s license and be insurable under COVA’s liability policy. Must pass background check including drug screen.
